Rice Rocket

Rice Rocket is an on-the-go rice in a box meal brand owned by ArmyNavy Burger + Burrito, a fast-food restaurant chain in the Philippines. 

I’m one of the 5 Filipino artists who were tapped by Rice Rocket for their packaging refresh project. The goal is to connect to the target demographic through our art styles and design. The Filipino archetype assigned to me is the “Foodie”, the one who loves food. It also includes the people who always “take photos of their food before eating” or in Tagalog, “pic muna bago kain”, something that I always do. 

My design features calligraphic symbolisms and patterns inspired Rice Rocket ingredients and the foodie lifestyle. Also, this project marks the debut of my personal logo placed on the bottom part of the box.
