Dividend Serif (36 Days of Type 2020)

Dividend Serif is a hybrid serif-Arabic calligraphy-blackletter display typeface. Inspired by currency symbols (strikethroughs) and banknotes. This project is my entry for the 2020 edition of 36 Days of Type, an annual open call that invites designers, illustrators and other creatives to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet.
